The 4th Installment of “The Matrix” is Now Casting

Casting directors are now seeking men and women, ages 18+, to be background in the upcoming film.
The Matrix is one of the most popular movie franchises of all time. It centers around the creation of artificial intelligence, which leads to a race of self-aware machines that have imprisoned humanity in a virtual reality system called “The Matri” and are used as a power source. Every so often, some of the prisoners break free and become a threat to the future of The Matrix.
The first movie won four Academy Awards with “The Matrix Reloaded” becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film in history. A confirmed fourth Matrix movie is in development with Lana Wachowski co-writing and directing and Keanu Reeves reprising their roles.
Details about the shoots are coming together as new casting notices have gone out in the Financial District of San Francisco seeking adult men & women.
Extras are needed for scenes filming this February for an estimated three weeks. The production is looking for many extras of no particular look or type and are noting that extras with cars they’re willing to bring to set are welcome as well — they’re asking people to list what make and model they drive, see below.
