I have been actively pursuing casting calls. Just a few weeks in, I did land a commercial shoot for a local restaurant here in Seattle, posting from Nine9. The experience allowed me to learn more about the behind the scenes of the making of a commercial and met other aspiring actors in the area. The Casting Director was very communicative and the crew extremely helpful. From this opportunity, I was able to book an extra in a music video from the same Casting Director. (I think I made a good impression!) And booked as an extra in a feature film in Portland, a lead I got from one of the extras from the restaurant shoot! The networking is amazing! There are a lot of opportunities in the Pacific Northwest. I appreciate all the help and tips from my one-on one with Stephanie and from the online resources and webinars within Nine9. My goal is to continue to grow, learn and enjoy the journey! Continuing the dream... Yolanda
