Short Film Casting New Talent in Houston
Casting Directors are looking for talent to appear in a short film set to film in Houston, Texas through May 17th.
It is a dichotomy between the innocence of youth and the corruption of money. As two siblings raised under the thumb of oil and the promise of big futures come of age, their aspirations throw the family out of balance. Jealousy and years of favoritism drive Maggie to shoot her brother in cold blood.

Character Breakdown:
Maggie: A stone cold woman who knows what she wants. Serious, stoic.
Sam: Typical golden child. Handsome and friendly but has a look that he’s capable of malice.
Special Notes for Potential Cast/Crew: Maggie will be required to wield an unloaded gun. Sam will be required to fall and play dead. This will be one scene, shot in broad daylight over the course of two to three hours. Because of the more western feel to the film it would be great if you own boots.
