Sequel to “The Shining” Casting Now
Casting Directors are seeking females of varying ethnicities for multiple parts in a period scene for Stephen King’s “Doctor Sleep.”
“Doctor Sleep” is based on the 2013 horror novel by King and is the sequel to his 1977 novel “The Shining”. King stated that it is a “return to balls-to-the-wall, keep-the-lights-on horror”. The book became a New York Times bestseller and also won the 2013 Bram Stoker Award for Best Novel.

Casting for a 2 Photo Doubles for a supporting character and a lead actor (child actors)
1. Female
– Age is open but MUST be in the height range
– Caucasian
– Height: 4’5″ to 4’8″
– Average build – approx 40 to 55 lbs, in proportion to the height
– Hair/Skin: Dark hair, pale skin
2. Female
– Age is open but MUST be in the height range
– Black, Hispanic, Asian or mixed race
– Height: 4’9″ to 5’2″
– Average build – approx 60 to 90 lbs, in proportion to the height
– Hair/Skin: Dark hair, pale skin

NOTE: Experience is a plus but not mandatory, however, a well-behaved girl who is not shy IS required!
Work Dates:
#1 will work Wednesday, October 10th
#2 will work various dates, TBD, approx 5 to 7 days or more (so please have a generally open schedule)
Location: Atlanta. GA
Pay rate:
$154 each day- with OT after 8 hrs if applicable (minors will work only DOL restricted hours for their age)

PLEASE- take photos in a neutral outfit, like a plain fitted T-shirt and shorts, so they can see body shape. Nothing baggy, etc.
Even if you have professional headshots, you MUST include the photos as listed above
