The casting team has announced an open Casting Call for background to be in the latest Spike Lee Joint.

The project is looking for individuals for various minor, non-speaking roles.

Spike Lee, the renowned director celebrated for his distinctive narrative style and social critiques, boasts a prolific career with projects spanning several decades. Since his influential first film “She’s Gotta Have It” in 1986 to his intense examination of racial dynamics in “Do the Right Thing” (1989), Lee has continually broken new ground and ignited significant discussions.

His body of work features notable films like “Malcolm X” (1992) and “25th Hour” (2002), a compelling story of redemption in the aftermath of 9/11 in New York City.

Central Casting New York is looking for individuals to portray parade goers.

If interested and available to film in the Bronx in mid-May, submit on their website at https://www.centralcasting.com/parade/
