American Vandal is a Netflix “mockumentary” that premiered on September 15th, 2017. The series is a satire of the true crime documentaries that gained popularity in 2015 – 2016. It follows the same type of format as Making of a Murderer but drastically changes the content, focuses on a ridiculous act of vandalism that takes place in a high school parking lot. The series stars Tyler Alvarez, Griffin Gluck, Jimmy Tatro and Camille Hyde.
