Netflix’s live-action series “Avatar: The Last Airbender” is gearing up for Season 2 and has announced an open Casting Call.

Following the immense success of its first season, Netflix has greenlit two more seasons to fully adapt the beloved animated series. The live-action adaptation aims to faithfully capture the spirit of the animated show, with the upcoming seasons set to delve deeper into the rich narrative and character arcs. This Casting Call presents an exciting opportunity for actors to join a highly anticipated continuation of the saga, bringing new life to characters that have captivated audiences for years.

Filming is expected to begin in Fall 2024.

The Casting Call is seeking a female of Asian descent to portray Toph. Talent who are blind or have low vision are strongly encouraged to apply but not required. Toph is characterized as sassy, confident and unfiltered. Her strength and earth bending skills, long suppressed, emerge as she becomes the Avatar’s earth bending master and a formidable warrior. Dance or martial arts experience is a plus but also not required.
