Nationwide Casting for New Disney Movie
Disney casting teams need males and females of all ages to play various roles in the ambitious new musical set to debut in 2018. Filming will begin this summer and casting teams need all types to fill dozens of roles. The auditions are nationwide at several different Disney affiliated locations.
Disney Studios is teaming up with Ice Cube and the Tony-winning director of Hamilton, Thomas Kail, for the new movie Oliver Twist. Marc Platt, the producer who also was behind Broadway’s Wicked, and Jeff Kwatinetz of The Firm are producing. It will be a historical tale with a hip-hop flair, much like Hamilton. Ice Cube will play Fagin, the leader of a London gang of pickpockets.

The popular story was already adapted by Disney as an animated movie, 1988’s Oliver and Company. But perhaps the biggest impact on popular culture has been through the never-ending iterations of the stage musical Oliver!
Disney is known for being one of the most prestigious companies in the world and listing them on your resume will land you more jobs in the future.
Ice Cube is a hip-hop artist turned producer and actor. He has appeared in several movies since he decided to focus less on the music industry and more on the film industry.
This project is casting nationwide and will film in Florida this summer.
Day rates are $200 and up
