“Bad Boys for Life” Release Date Announced
Bad Boys for Life
The original Bad Boys movie was released in 1995 and made over $141 million in the box office. The famous action-cop film starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, created enough buzz for fans to demand a sequel. Bad Boys II was then released in 2003 with the same stars, and it made $273 million in the box office. Both of the action movies were directed by Michael Bay and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It has been more than thirteen years since Bad Boys II was released, but last week Bad Boys for Life was announced.
The third edition into the Bad Boys series will bring back Martin Lawrence and Will Smith as the dedicated Miami detectives. Plot details have not yet been fully revealed, but it has been speculated that the third movie will take place about ten years after Bad Boys II. Both detectives have aged and now have families with children. The movie will see the detectives struggling with the last days of their radiant careers, their retirement, and raising their kids. This premise will surely lead to hilarious “Bad Boy” type humor and funny moments.
The movie is set to be filming in Miami, the Midwest, and California this year. Bad Boys for Life will not hit theaters until January 12th, 2018, but this is a great opportunity to stay ahead of the game so that you can be prepared for when casting calls are announced.
