“Wednesday” is returning to production for its new 2024/2025 season and is currently casting for background.
The acclaimed Netflix series blends coming-of-age, supernatural, comedy, and horror elements, drawing inspiration from the iconic character Wednesday Addams, created by Charles Addams. Developed by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the show stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams and features a talented ensemble cast, including Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Georgie Farmer, Naomi J. Ogawa, and Christina Ricci. Tim Burton, known for his distinctive visual style and storytelling, directs four episodes of the first season and serves as an executive producer.
The upcoming season of Netflix’s “Wednesday” is set to begin filming this month and Celtic Casting is seeking local Talent to serve as background on the show.
