I've always been the type of person who wanted to be heard. As a small child I would parade around acting like my idols, heroes, and personalities that I saw on TV or movies. Large crowds were always my favorite because I knew my message could be heard and sent out to the masses. These things all led me to sales, with no fear of speaking to anyone. I have thrived in that field, and eventually became a trainer, someone who could pass along their talent and help others overcome their fear of speaking in large groups, as well as breaking out of their own comfort zone.Now what does all of this mean? It means that my dedication and drive has brought me to this point in life. I found out about Nine9 and how they can help others get their foot in the door. I signed up knowing that in order to develop yourself, you must invest in yourself. I am happy to have invested into myself and Nine9 in order to help me take the knowledge and confidence I have and develop that into this industry, where I've always wanted to step foot.
Within two weeks of me signing up, creating my comp card, and submitting it to several castings, I have received a call back. I don't have any professional experience, but we all have to start somewhere, and I'm determined to never give up, be let down by rejections, or stop at the first no. These are all the standards I have set for myself and will hold myself accountable for.
